Due to the current circumstances and disruption to businesses around the world, Microsoft have issued a statement regarding the legacy web client deprecation and the 2020 Wave 1 Release.
Legacy Web Client Deprecation – Deadline Extended
Last year, Microsoft announced that the Dynamics 365 legacy web client was being deprecated and a new unified interface was being released. The deprecation was originally scheduled for October 2020, howeverthis has now been postponed for two months to December 2020. This aims to relieve pressure on both customers and partners, allowing businesses more time to make the transition.

2020 Wave 1 Release – One Month Extension
On April 1st, the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform 2020 Wave 1 Release will roll out on general availability, which is still planned to go ahead. However, Microsoft has deferred the mandatory uptake date by one month to May. This allows customers to take the updates when it is most convenient to them, either in April as planned, or now deferred to May.
