Power Automate Premium

This license spans modern and legacy applications enabling users to create and run unlimited automated processes both online and offline, increasing productivity and allowing employees to focus on the activities that matter most.

Price: £12.30 ($15) per user/per month 

Capabilities: 

  • Unlimited cloud flows (DPA) including automated, instant and scheduled flows – read more about flows in Microsoft Power Automate here.
  • Unlimited business process flows
  • Access to desktop flows (RPA) in attended mode with inclusion of one bot
  • Access to standard, premium and custom connectors
  • Inclusion of AI Builder with a limit of 5,000 credits
  • Process mining capabilities for visualising and analysing workflows (50 MB Power Automate process mining data storage, up to 100GB per tenant)
  • Ability to have other users view, edit or run automations
  • Dataverse storage of 250 MB and 2 GB file capacity

Best for: Establishing a culture of automation across your organisation. It is the licenses recommended by Microsoft for most standard organisations.

Power Automate Process

Licensed per bot, the Power Automate process license includes a single automation bot that can be used for unattended robotic process automation or business critical processes that need to be accessible to unlimited users within an organisation.

Price: £123.30 ($150) per bot, per month 

Capabilities:

  • One process license can be used to run one core business process, such as invoice processing or HR onboarding. Any child flows included here do not need an additional license
  • Includes AI Builder service credits of 5,000 per month
  • Dataverse storage of 50MB and 200 MB file capacity
  • RPA attended flows not included
  • For every top-level flow (scheduled flows, automated flows, instant flows, and business process flows) an additional Power Automate Process license must be purchased

Best for: Automating essential enterprise processes like invoicing or HR onboarding that involve multiple interconnected steps.

Power Automate Per User

The Power Automate per-user license enables individual users to create and run unlimited automated business processes dependent on their requirements.

Price: Around £12.30 ($15) per user, per month

Capabilities:

  • Unlimited cloud and business process flows
  • Access to standard, premium and custom connectors
  • No access to AI Builder
  • Dataverse storage of 250 MB and 2 GB file capacity

Best for: Individual users that need to run specific automations across an organisation.

Power Automate Per Flow

This license allows users to implement critical business processes across an organisation without having to individually license each user that triggers a power automate flow.

Price: Around £82.20 ($100) per flow, per month 

Capabilities: 

  • Ability to create and run cloud flows
  • Ability to create and run business process flows
  • Access to standard, premium and custom connectors
  • Dataverse storage of 50 MB and 200 MB file capacity
  • Minimum initial purchase of 5 units

Best for: Organisations that have a lower number of critical business flows and automations that need to be run across their business.

Available as an add-on for:

  • Existing Power Automate, Power Apps, or Dynamics 365 paid subscription plans

Hosted RPA

Run robotic process automation (RPA) as a service with hosted machine options.

Price: £176.70 per bot/month

Capabilities: 

  • Microsoft hosted machine
