Last year, the Microsoft Partner landscape experienced a significant shift as the familiar Silver and Gold Partner accreditations were replaced by Microsoft Solutions Partner designations. As a Partner that has achieved Solutions Partner status for Business Applications, we wanted to summarise what this accreditation is, and what this means for customers.

What does it mean to be a Microsoft Solutions Partner?

The Microsoft Solutions Partner accreditation demonstrates our commitment to delivering the best service for our clients, the skill level of our technical team and our experience in implementing successful projects across the Microsoft ecosystem.

To achieve this designation, Partners across the ecosystem must demonstrate a high level of competence in a specific area (like Business Applications for example) and are assessed across various categories such as performance, skilling and customer success.

Ultimately, it’s a marker of credibility and expertise so that both Microsoft and prospects can be confident in the Partner they are working with.

What Solution Partner designation areas are there?

As well as being assessed on overall categories to become a Solutions Partner, there are six key designations that demonstrate specific areas of expertise:

  • Data & AI
  • Infrastructure
  • Digital & App Innovation
  • Business Applications
  • Modern Work
  • Security

What does this mean for customers?

Here at Pragmatiq, we can understand why Microsoft have made the change from the Silver/Gold Partner to Solutions Designation, and there are a few key points we want to draw your attention to:

  • Focus on core offerings: The new designations place a stronger emphasis on Microsoft’s core offerings, making it simpler for end-users to identify companies with expertise in specific areas.
  • Assurance of capability: It reassures customers that they are collaborating with partners equipped with the necessary skills and capabilities to meet their unique requirements and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Higher standards: These designations are more challenging to attain compared to the previous Gold and Silver accreditations, ensuring that only partners delivering top-quality services can achieve this recognition.

Pragmatiq: Your trusted Microsoft Solutions Partner for Business Applications
